Lake Murray Café
Saturday was the 2nd time in a row that we have visited this restaurant with the very same results. Almost like Deju Vu. We were seated. Busboy brought water. Ordered drinks. Two of us got our drinks in an acceptable amount of time. We had to ask 3 times over a 10-15 minute time frame to get the coffee for the 3rd person. We watched as several tables came in after us. got their food and left. Asked twice if there was a problem. 3rd querie at 45 minutes in. Told it "should" be about 5 more minutes. After 10 minutes we walked out. Different waitress than the first time this happened to us at this place but the same problem....neither one of them had put our order in. This restaurant is extremely noisy...very very loud. Not pleasant at all. It is obvious the people only go there because the portions are enormous. Very unhealthy. We go to lunch every Saturday anywhere from Alphine to Encinitas and all points in between. We won't return to Lake Murray Cafe.— January 3, 2010 4:47 p.m.
