Baja Revisited
Thanks for the confirmation, I have been wanting to go to San Felipe for the last 3 years but have been told that it is too dangerous for Americans to go these days. I have missed the fish tacos and the sunshine! I used to drive down with my kids in the car and being a single mother I was always treated with respect and kindness, it is nice to know that it is safe for the average person to travel again in Baja— October 6, 2011 6:41 a.m.
View of downtown from Golden Hill
that is weird! my neice used to live in the cream colored apartment on the right side of the picture, upstairs! boy were those steps steep!— September 2, 2008 12:12 p.m.
The Run Around the North Park
thanks for that, I was feeling homesick for north park, I could see you running down the street past all my old stomping grounds! I grew up in north park, partying down at Morley on a friday night when you couldn't get a parking space, but that was ok with us as we were 15yrs old and didn't have a car anyway! We used to walk down there and bum a ride home from one of the "boys" in the neighborhood, that was so fun!— September 2, 2008 12:03 p.m.
Best of 2001: Best Big Omelet
OMG I miss that place! You cannot get anything like that breakfast in milwaukee for that price! I always get the hobo breakfast! man I miss that place!— September 1, 2008 5:26 a.m.
Dark Side of the Zoo
you are funny! I spent a lot of time at the zoo during my engagement with Roosevelt Jr High, there was always a hole in the fence by the tennis courts that we would escape from to enter the zoo, I know where every animal is, in the zoo and spent countless hours on the skyfari which is probably the best one in the country for height and distance! My fondest memories were from the camels, every morning at gym we would have to run past them for 2 laps and they always smelled, now being in rural wisconsin whenever I smell the manure I always think of the camels!— September 1, 2008 4:36 a.m.
