we call it OB
I love OB and lived there for 10 years. Unfortunately due to economies of scale I have moved (temporarily) to Las Vegas. How to describe what I took for granted all those years in OB. The smell of the sea air, the lonely sound of the fog horn, the funky beat of farmer's market and living in the place where everyone really does know your name, your kid's names and even your dog's name. Rejoice OBcians and fight for your little piece of paradise. Now as I sit here in 108 degree weather, where it is even 100 degrees at night, I miss my town even more. How can you compare living here in the Devil's Armpit to the beauty, the innocence and sheer joy of OB?— June 29, 2008 11:58 a.m.
