Whoa!
while I wasn't there I could find no UCSD police reports regarding the arrest of the thieving high school students. I seriously doubt the person that emailed her/his one sided story to the paper would have omitted the part where she/he stepped in and confronted the thieving high school students, thus my conclusion that the witness did nothing to prevent it. Maybe the student just did not see? Claire could and should have done more work on this article don't you find it a little odd that the merchant would say "that race" when the merchant was talking to some one from "that race"?— November 3, 2009 6:12 a.m.
Whoa!
African-American UCSD student witnessed African-American High school students steal merchandise from vendors and did nothing to prevent this? Shame, shame, shame! Two sides to every story so I will be looking forward to Claire's "part two" of this story and hear from the merchant.— October 31, 2009 11:37 p.m.
