You're lucky you nipped the Landmark harassment in the bud -- there are many people who get sucked in, waste a lot of time and money only to be brainwashed into selling it to friends, family and co-workers. As for the other scams... it can happen over email and from friends too. I've had several friends who get caught up in these types of things and I just have to say "I'm sorry, sweetie--in a couple months you'll have lost a lot of money and all your friends. Is it really worth it?" How do you tell them they're a sucker?— May 5, 2010 1:21 p.m.
