Let’s Toast to Banning Booze
For those of you who are upset like I am that drinking a cold beer on the beach is now illegal, there's a new kid in town that will be running against Kevin Faulconer in the fall of 2010. Samuel Assmann, a 27-year old from Crown Point. I'll be helping Sam with his campaign as we never saw this as a black/white issue. Nearly everybody we spoke to agreed that the city could've and should've made a statement by banning alcohol, but ONLY on holidays when policing it was a problem.
