Are the volunteers getting hosed?
I live in Ranchita. We were promised 24/7 coverage at our fire station. Our station is frequently empty. It was un-staffed on Independence Day. I needed help for my husband on a Saturday afternoon in May and we stopped at the fire station and found it empty. We also recently had a small fire in Ranchita and the fire department didn't have enough hose to reach the fire! Is this an improvement over our former volunteers? I don't think so!— July 25, 2013 11:14 a.m.
