How Navy culture may have caused the Fitzgerald disaster
Thank you CAPT(ret.) Eyer, for taking the time to describe what it is like to be there. Your detailed article hit the mark and to inform the reader, who hasn't been to sea in this capacity, what it might be like out there. In fact, while I am just hitting 31 years service next month, I haven't been to sea in a few years and your article had me reminiscing-especially the darkness-so dark you can't see your hand in front of your face. I do appreciate your article and I shared it with some of my family members to help them understand better. V/r, M. Decker— August 22, 2017 6:54 p.m.
