San Diego cracks down on anyone living in his car
I got news for you, other parts of the country, where winters are actually COLD are far less accommodating to vagrants. And nobody is talking about where the RV squatters are dumping their black water. I thought the bleeding hearts were very concerned about the environment, toxic contamination, pollution, and ugly human behaviors that people choose to do.— January 19, 2021 2:16 p.m.
Rejoinder to homeless defender
Holier-than-thou, Ms. Dundar down by the border, you sure are way out there in your thinking. It seems that you and that old (yeah, for sure he is, who else talks about their oatmeal? for real?) guy in Escondido are cut from the same cloth. Neither one of you invited a single homeless person to come live in your homes since see yourselves are so much better people than a nurse you don't even know. Nurses are in short supply across the nation right now, so you better hope you don't need one taking care of you any time soon. If you were sick enough to end up in the hospital, my guess is you would drop that abusive attitude in a heartbeat. Nurses are great people, they have to be to do what they do, because it's damn hard, especially now. It is easy to write letters tearing into another person just for stating a strong opinion that she backed up from many angles. She spoke truth, you just didn't like it. You are clueless and you sound just as ignorant as the guy telling us about what he's eating for breakfast (as if we wanted to know) up there in cozy Escondido. Both of you should be ashamed of yourselves for insulting a nurse! What is wrong with you?! As for homeless being treated better in other parts of America, you didn't name a single state or city. That's definitely not what I've seen, not anywhere. Back that up, Ms. Dunbar, and maybe Amber and others will want to head to one of those places.— January 16, 2021 10:34 p.m.
Don't kick San Diego RV dwellers when they're down
Ha ha ha! I was wondering what this guy puts in his oatmeal, actually. Yeah, he sure got off on calling a nurse a "bully" which is exactly what he is! This nurse writes an opinion about a topic that affects all San Diegans' quality of life, except his, I guess. The Rock Climbers are right. Lord Harrington doesn't care because they aren't on his street, and he probably never leaves his "comfortable home" to venture down to the beach or other areas where Amber and others like her choose to set up camp. Don't imagine this guy, as I picture him in my head anyway, being a surfer, paddle boarder or ocean swimmer. I imagine him as a lonely, cranky old man who never leaves his house, except to go pick up his free SD Reader. What a joke! He is a totally loser, unlike the nurse he tried to skewer with his idiotic taunts.— January 16, 2021 10:13 p.m.
