Despicable Diners
A small person, indeed. Most of my adult life has been spent in either customer service (waitress, barkeep, sales associate) or community service (military, teacher, lifeguard) and I have to say this little man is the exception, not the rule. His rude attempts to make himself look grandiose fell flat into his lap.— November 12, 2011 10:46 a.m.
Occupy San Diego Joins Veterans Day Parade, Holds Teach-ins
Visduh, I'll give an update. We were there and if Occupy had stood along the route and cheered/clapped in honor and remembrance of American Veteran's, that would've been fine. But no, some of them chose to be loud, be profane, say inappropriate things, and play music from a boombox at a very loud volume. When several in the crowd asked them to turn it down, they were ignored. Not until I crossed the street and asked them to turn it down, did they do so. This wasn't about them and they had no place there if their plans were disruption, as it seemed to be. The Veteran's present and past fought for their right to peacefully protest, they should've shown their respect and thanks by doing so or getting lost.— November 11, 2011 4:58 p.m.
