Is life fair?
I'm not so convinced that the question itself is so pertinent. Our race (humans) isn't as glorious as we makes it out to be. I mean we as a race do a lot of terrible things to each other every day. If you say life isn't fair, then you take these things into account, and if you say life is fair then you dismiss all the terrible things we do to other humans. You live in a world that is ignorant to the suffering, especially the suffering this country(US) incurs to many other countries which allows its citizens to live in such a plush manner. We are so insignificant to the rest of the cosmos but people still get caught up in the intricacies that life presents. Asking questions like "Is life fair?" brings personal opinion but what significance does that hold if people just choose one side or the other? Realizing the beautiful things that exist around us and learning to love as much as possible is the only constructive attitude I can conceive.— December 4, 2010 8:26 p.m.
