Cirque du Crazy
You can get off at Gennesee, then drive along the coast.— May 22, 2012 8:45 p.m.
Cirque du Crazy
I hate that f*cking exit. Unless you have hours to kill, you need to drive to the font, squeeze your way in and cut someone off. That is a scenario would drive most people crazy.— May 16, 2012 8:28 p.m.
Divine Beast
I am a horse (of course). I too know astrology is a bunch of crap. This article inspired me to look the information on the year of the Horse. Now, I am a sceptic. Then I read the description. Wouldn't you believe it? It was nothing like me. It's total crap. However, I do believe that life is mostly what you make of it. I'm sure you will have a great year. Nothing to do with the stars, but your attitude.— February 4, 2012 5:45 a.m.
Friendlies
God forbid someone actually show these kids a whole new world. They might actually get inspired to do something beyond what they know. Holy crap, they need to know their place in life and not stray from it. Ok, that's 2 religious references from an atheist. What is this world coming to? You and your crazy liberal ideas that everyone is equal and should have the opportunity to pursue happiness.— October 15, 2011 7:49 a.m.
Puppy Love
What comes first, a puppy or a pig?— May 24, 2011 9:59 a.m.
Cookie Momster
Never use the ATM in the grocery store. Just buy a pack of gum or anything else and get cash back. You spend less on your item and actually get something for it. I read somewhere (probably Facebook) that girl scouts only get 35 cents per box of cookies sold. Is this true? I still buy the cookies, but would like to know that the kids get more than 35 cents for a $4 box of cookies.— March 17, 2011 10:59 a.m.
Slimmer of Hope
Yes, starve yourself and take any hormone and you will lose weight. Study very, very, very hard and eat my special cookie (only $9.95 + $1.99 S&H)and you will do well on your test. Bang your head on the wall and drink my smoothie (free for a limited time + $19.95 S&H) and you will get a headache. Drink coffee, eat yogurt, eat a can of chili, and wear my transorbitaluniverse pyramid hat (usually $999 now only $599.99 + FREE shipping) and you will poop.— January 24, 2011 9:04 a.m.
Daddy Docent
Be glad your dad is accurate with his information. The Cliff Clavens of the world are the worst. I once had a guy try to tell me that the Navy had dolphins swimming in the water to protect the boats (fair enough). He then went on to say that they would fill the "bad guys" wet suit full of air so that they would float to the surface. He was a grown man and dead serious. I could only laugh at how many holes are in that story. Be glad you come from an intelligent family.— November 8, 2010 12:31 p.m.
Juice Boxes
I believe Kapri Sun is the number one kids drink. When I worked as a chauffeur, I drove the owner and his wife. They flew in on their private jet and went to meet with Four Seasons in Carlsbad, because they had interest in buying the resort. I was amazed that it wasn't owned by Coca-Cola or Pepsi. Just a guy and his wife. Both down to earth, friendly, and generous with the tip.— August 25, 2010 3:49 p.m.
Behind the Curtain
While working in college I made one of my first donations. Later I found out that less than 40 cents to the dollar went to the actual cause. I felt like I had been ripped off. I didn't make many more donations after that, but would volunteer my time. I would also shop at the Food 4 Less and every time there would be someone outside begging for change. Sometimes I would tell them I had put it all on my card. Other times I would buy an extra banana to give because it usually a woman with her kids in tow. I knew the kids wouldn't see the money and I could hand the fruit directly to them without the parent getting in the way.— August 25, 2010 3:45 p.m.
