Caltrans' Conundrum
If an organization or individual has the cash for the fee to adopt the highway and willing to maintain it, Caltrans should have no right to deny an application because of political concerns. I'm sure La Raza would have no problem getting a section of highway.— January 30, 2010 12:06 p.m.
I never thought I'd become a welfare queen
Found several apartments on Craigslist for under $800. That makes up most of your deficit. Sucks, but live with in your means.— January 30, 2010 11:50 a.m.
Hindsight Is Broken
I've seen plenty of cyclists crash into side mirrors, especially in Southpark.— January 28, 2010 4:02 p.m.
Would you tell someone if they had bad breath or body odor?
I do all the time. People take offense to my smoking, so I have no problem letting people know that scientists have invented deodorant, soap, and toothpaste.— January 15, 2010 12:17 p.m.
91X Wrex the Halls
I thought the line up was terrible which is why I didn't go. KROQ in Los Angeles had a much better line up at the Almost Acoustic Christmas— December 17, 2009 10:39 a.m.
Employment Numbers Worse Than Reported, but Main Street's Pain Is Wall Street's Gain
dbauder - You are correct about the way the survey is conducted. I brain-farted on that one. Its the economic forecasters and investment speculators that use the UEI fillings as a sign to artificially raise prices on commodities. Example - Report comes out today that UEI applications declined last month, oil goes up $2.90/barrel that day even if the us dollar gains.— November 7, 2009 1:35 p.m.
FIX THIS NEIGHBORHOOD
All you need is a shovel and the desert.— November 7, 2009 9:46 a.m.
Employment Numbers Worse Than Reported, but Main Street's Pain Is Wall Street's Gain
Keep in mind that these numbers are soley based upon people filing or claiming unemployment benefits. This does not include people who received severance packages, have exhausted their unemployment benefits, or simply did not qualify for unemployment benefits.— November 7, 2009 9:43 a.m.
Shield for All
Good, I'm glad these idiots were arrested. Protestors can not block entrances or impede traffic. Health insurance is a privilege, not a right. Why can't people understand this?— November 4, 2009 11:31 a.m.
Lose the Booze, La Mesa
Another freedom taken away. Thank you La Mesa city council for slapping our hands and saying drinking in the park is bad. I really needed the parenting. Can you also hold my hand when I cross the street?— October 30, 2009 1:15 p.m.
