Hi! My name is Ashleigh and I am an Oceanside resident who absolutely loves everything about living in Southern CA! I was born, raised, and a resident of the Washington, DC area for way too long...I have been here since August of 2013 and I still get overly excited about the fact that I live in a place that is always beautiful, I can step outside and feel the sun kiss my shoulders, my backyard is the ocean, and I am always in the presence of palm trees. I am so stoked to finally live where I have dreamed of living my whole life and I am never leaving.

I am an out-going, energetic, people-loving, passionate 27 year old. I have always got a huge smile and I love to laugh. I believe in spreading good vibes and energy to those around me. I love any opportunity to bring out the best in people. I surf and SUP, the ocean is where I go when I need to think. The amount of money I have invested into my Itunes library is ridiculous, but music is inspires me. I have stacks of books because I write about everything and I doodle like I am getting paid for it. I am probably one of the busiest people you will ever meet, but that is the only way I know how to operate. I work hard and I always give everything I do 110%. I am proactive, I love to learn, and I am always looking for ways to utilize my creativity.

My "real" job is working as an Account Executive for a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in the IT Industry. I came out here to build our company brand and develop a presence on the west coast. I work from home, love the flexibility but am not a fan of having to do everything via Skype or on the phone. Prior to that I worked for the Department of Defense for six years as a Contract Specialist.

Outside of my real job, my true passion in life is intertwined with the volunteer work I do. I am a huge advocate for protecting our oceans am currently working in a volunteer capacity with a non-profit organization that goes out and performs waterway cleanups throughout San Diego County via standup paddleboards. I have been handling all of their Public Relations efforts and absolutely love it. For the first time in my life, I have found something that I genuinely love putting my all my free time into and the best part is, I do it for free and don't even think twice about it. I have my Bachelors in Public Relations. Anything PR is a passion of mine because I love to write and love to talk. Through volunteering with various organizations over the years I have gained experience in various avenues of PR and hope to one day open my own PR Firm.

Another passion of mine is public speaking. I am one of the few people that actually do not mind getting up in front of a crowd! I spent 5 years as an active member in Toastmasters International, an internationally recognized public speaking club. Served one year as the Vice President of Public Relations and one year as the club President.
