Branch of U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services Moves to Block Local Anti-Obesity Pill
Does this article mean, obese people or obesity should be fixed by natures law of natural selection not by drugs along with the life style changes?????? (scary) To begin with, lets take off all the cars from the roads, all fast food restaurants, all sugary foods, all comfortable furniture (move to cave-like living), remove baths, toilets, bath soaps, remove all that makes up a civilization, -- THEN Natures law of natural selection will work at its best... THEN after 1 Century there will be no obesity.. OR let the research do its work and let people take help of the anti-obesity drugs so that they could come out of the dangers of diabetes (extreme cases leads to amputations), heart problems (not fun to have 10 inches cut in center of your chest to fix the choking heart).. by taking such drugs while they do get a chance to change their life (and life style) for good, and for those less fortunate ones who are pre-disposed genetically would get a chance to live better lives till research takes the medical science to point where what is unimaginable or unthinkable is possible, ***Till then my vote is with anti-obesity drugs*** And as far as the improvements to the current drugs (like Belvig) is concerned, sky is the limit.— July 1, 2012 10:41 a.m.
