San Diego Economy: Where’s the Oomph?
This is an interesting article, but I would recommend that you learn the difference between a semicolon and a colon. In this statement, "San Diego’s unemployment rate continues higher than the nation’s: in April it was 8.7 percent compared to the nation’s 7.7 percent," a semicolon should have been used since you connected two independent clauses into one sentence.— June 12, 2012 10:27 a.m.
