Roger Waters Performs Opus The Wall
"Waters was freed of the constraints of sharing the spotlight with his former band mates and took center stage." Mr. Knighton writes... I have been a huge Pink Floyd fan for as long as I can remember listening to music. Waters being center stage was the reason the "band" ceased to exist in 1985. Post Waters Pink FLoyd such as Momentary Lapse of Reason with Gilmour taking front spot was still a huge success and some wonderful music came from that time. You will also notice that Gilmour asked Wright and Mason to continue on without Waters and they gladly did (especially Wright who was kicked out of Pink Floyd by Waters). Waters was so convinced that he WAS center stage he tried to prevent the other members from using the name... I enjoy both Gilmour's and Waters' solo careers (if you can call Waters a solo career and not someone holding onto his greatest hits)... but to say that Waters is freed from the constraints disregards the entire history of the band.— December 6, 2010 1:58 p.m.
I'd Like to Mail This Here Pistol
Crying out Loud.. "Guns Dont Kill. People Do."... how cliche can you get. At least get it right... "Guns don't kill people, bullets do". Even though I am a firm believer in right to bare arms, he should have transfered this gun the responsible way. a postal worker could scan it and take it, or many other things could have happened. and who knows who he is sending it to...— February 11, 2009 9:35 a.m.
