"Ghetto" Vons?
I've lived 3 blocks away from Von's for over 30 years. Nice small supermarket, good selection of produce, and nice people work there. I've never heard anybody refer to it as the ghetto Von's. The locals around this Von's consist of a lot of beach people, many Mexican Americans in the area West of 5, and the high school kids in from San Dieguito Academy at lunch. None of them call it the Ghetto Von's. I think Ken Harrison's locals maybe aren't so local.— April 30, 2010 9:55 p.m.
