Columbine and Pepper streets get serious patch
While I am happy for the fellow citizens of City Heights (Where I lived for 24 years), I have to comment on my own neighborhood street of Scripps Trail specifically from Timberlake to La Vita Ct. For at least the last 10-15 years I have observed many of the other streets in Scripps Ranch get repaired and resurfaced 2-3 times. The Scripps Trail section I am referring to has multiple dips and valleys that cause a roller coaster ride and clanging of trucks and cargo as they proceed. My neighbors and I have made multiple requests to address this situation and request repair. Occasionally there is some patch work done here and there. We have heard about every reason possible for the delay of work needed. I guess it's time to move or just give up. Absurd....— May 5, 2021 9:42 p.m.
Some Point Loma streets fixed, others ignored
Amazing to see these photos of even an alleyway anyplace in San Diego. Looks like Appalachia. I invite the readers of this article to drive on Scripps Trail in Scripps Ranch if they want to see an assortment of pot holes, missing chunks of asphalt and dips for this street that has not had a major repair since it was built in 1982. Now that's our tax dollars NOT at work! The Mayor claims 50% of the potholes in San Diego have been repaired? Scripps Trail is the 50% that has not. Even the pot hole crews that show up every few years have commented in what poor condition the street is in.— February 5, 2020 6:47 p.m.

Good intentions behind paving of Scripps Trail
Thanks to all who have commented on what I believe to be the street in the poorest condition in Scripps Ranch. Maybe Santa will bring Quinton, Kersey, and the Mayor a new pair of tap dance shoes for XMAS! Happy Holidays as we move toward the 40th year of no major road repair for Scripps Trail.— December 10, 2019 8:51 a.m.

Did a "Drive By" today to check out the location. Hadn't been in the Spring St. area in over 30 years. Didn't the current location used to be across the street many moons ago? Current location parking is tight!— May 8, 2019 7:53 p.m.
