Preemptive Scorch
refriedgringo, no need to get personal. Honestly, I generally don't read stories about TJ. The editor's catchy headline brought me in. There is no author listed and therefore was not aware of where the story took place until I read it. Within the last year, there were weeks worth of letters to the editor regarding Tijuana stemming from an article that the Reader published. And it seemed to me that the vast majority of the letter writers had great disdain for the border town.— December 10, 2009 9:28 p.m.
Saved From Suicide
Years ago, older Natives used to say goodbye to their families, walked into the woods and joined their spiritual ancestors. By PistolPete Don't leave us in suspense Pistol. Did the forest swallow them up? What was next buddy? Seriously though, thanks.— December 10, 2009 6:45 p.m.
Chased?
email [email protected] for a $25 rewards on published stories. Microsoft92114 Sounds like prostitution to me:)— December 10, 2009 6:41 p.m.
Preemptive Scorch
Are there that many people out there who really care what happens in nasty Tijuana?— December 10, 2009 6:37 p.m.
For the Shills
The protester clarified why he demonstrates against the religious group: “I have never protested for anything based on their religious belief. I couldn't care less if they think they are possessed by aliens. We're protesting their behavior.” What about their behavior are you protesting?— December 10, 2009 6:17 p.m.
The Clerk Smirked
Or, if you belong to AA, no lines. refriedgringo You'd need to go to NA to find lines:)— December 8, 2009 4:12 p.m.
Festival of Car Lights
MadFriar, the author is writing about Friday night, not Saturday.— December 8, 2009 3:27 p.m.
Festival of Car Lights
C'mon abbeyrd...it's pretty obvious what took place. Look at today's economy. If I had been the attendant on duty, I would've been scammin' left and right. If indeed the attendant was pocketing money, she should be reported and that is the bigger story here. And Pistol Pete, remind me never to attend an event where you are the attendant on duty:) lol— December 7, 2009 6:08 p.m.
Festival of Car Lights
another attendant advised her before offering two options: pay $20 for a slot “or make a U-turn.” This is somewhat unclear. Was there actually parking available for those willing to pay $20, or was the attendant attempting to "sell" a free parking spot and pocket the money?— December 7, 2009 8:31 a.m.
Gas Pump in Question
Thank you Pistol Pete. Indeed delivering great customer service can be trying. I certainly have been guilty of providing a less than stellar performance at times.— November 17, 2009 5:09 a.m.
