The crosswalk cover-up on Canon Street
My late father worked for the city, as an investigator for the city attorney's office. He was an honest, straight shooter. 23 years as a cop, retired as a sgt. He would tell them "this is dangerous" they told him "we'll take the risk, and pay if something happens". I guess they got tired of hearing the truth, and finally fired him, saying he was "incompetent". Ruined the poor guy's life...had to sell his belongings, and file bankruptcy to keep his house... practically drank himself to death, cancer got him first. Here we are 20+ years later, and the City of San Diego still hasn't learned right from wrong. Pathetic.— March 10, 2017 3 a.m.
