There goes the Oceanside beach
Those homes are really close to the water. I wouldn't want strangers hanging out that close to my home— March 11, 2021 12:13 p.m.
PB Antifa events dissected
I can't remember a time seeing such polar opposite reviews of something. How can an author make no effort to check sources, write a one-sided article full of errors, lend a voice to Nazism and fascism, and fail to mention a guy making a Sieg Heil salute, fail to mention conflicts with people, no mention of a guy with a George Floyd shirt getting beat up in an alley.; and at the same time be a "dynamic reporter" who wrote "an excellent article of actual journalism," an "unbiased report" and "one of the best articles I've read." So looking at the article it becomes clear what is happening. These Antifa activists seem to be communists who are angry their violent extremist nature has been exposed by a politically neutral media outlet with a sizable audience, when they are used to big media outlets like the UT covering up their true nature and enabling their violence to continue. The author actually did write about the Nazi salute, the guy with the George Floyd shirt getting beat up in the alley and other conflicts. He actually seemed to be quite fair and balanced, pointing out violence from both groups. So are these critics writing these letters bashing an article they never read? Or are they just liars? And the author cites videos repeatedly so where does this guy get the idea that he didn't check any of those sources? The only reasonable critic is Amanda Flo whose letter seemed like it could have been even more harsh, considering the error she says the author made about naming Mr. Marco Amaral, who wasn't actually there. You'd think the other critics would be focusing on that, but they're going off on these rants, making criticisms of the author that are obviously false to anyone who actually reads the article.— March 3, 2021 4:40 p.m.
San Diego's anti-fascists turn fascist
Seems to me the communists are so angry about being exposed as the violent extremists they are (and not much different than fascists) that they will say anything to attack this article, no matter how false their accusations are. I keep trying to find what these people are talking about in the article and I'm finding something completely different.— March 3, 2021 4:16 p.m.
