U.S. Flag Day
Jay Wilson and I just returned from posting half of the flags on Navajo Road on behalf of the Del Cerro Action Council and the San Carlos Area Council. The other half of the flags were posted by Elks Lodge 168. We hope you enjoy them and also hope you're flying the flag at your home and/or business today to honor Old Glory.

****Residential Burglary Caser in San Carlos**** Recently one of our neighbors, home alone, heard someone trying to open his front door. He opened the door and confronted a well-dressed young woman holding a huge ring of keys. She immediately apologized, saying she obviously had the wrong address. She supposedly worked for a company that monitors vacant properties. They give her keys and send her out to inspect the homes. Sound suspicious? Our neighbor thought so and told her to leave or he would call the police. She left. Be on the look out for an adult woman, about 20 years old. She drives a light color sedan. The female is about 5'7'', heavy-set and is light-skinned. If she comes to your home, don't open the door and call 911. If you see her in your neighborhood or on your street, call 619-531-2000 immediately. Get a description of her clothing to tell the dispatcher, who can then tell the responding patrol officer(s) You can help to stop this potential thief by being alert.— April 26, 2013 5:26 p.m.
