They'd Think I Had 'Roid Rage
I went to high school with Jean-Paul in Griffin, GA. He is the real deal. His dad was a mechanic and you could see how genetics played a role in Jean-Paul's build. His little brother was the same way, and the entire family were the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Paul and I played bass drum in the marching band my sophomore year (his senior), and he enjoyed a legendary reputation as the guy who could break the drum head with just one hit. I never saw this, but he would often pick up the heavy drum with one hand and play it while holding it over his head. I'm glad he is doing well, and it's too bad that people assume he's a 'roid head. He's not. He's simply built his life around body building and good health.— June 8, 2008 9:45 a.m.
