Man accused of $3 million fraud admits 48 felonies
Man Wanted for Questioning After Girlfriend Found Dead in Tijuana Crossed Border Using Alias: FBI The FBI says Tyler Adams crossed back into the U.S. from Tijuana using an alias, and is now on the run June 17, 2022— June 18, 2022 3:19 p.m.
Temecula con man gets prison
Funny I picked today to follow up on this. I spent a bit of time Googling...looks like the Tyler Adam mom died. Found the obituary. The stepdad is retired or I think I saw something about how he lost his job. I still think the stepdad was in on all this. Plus it's all over the internet that after Tyler finished this 14 year sentence in California (looks like he did 7) he started a new sentence in Hawaii, 10 years. I guess he was eligible to get out in September 2019, on parole when he escaped! two days ago, which is why I say it's funny that I picked today to follow up on this. So he's on the loose!— May 24, 2019 2:43 p.m.
Temecula con man gets prison
For the third time, after reviewing all three SD Reader stories about this guy, it's inconceivable that the stepfather was innocent. The stepfather was obviously involved in all this. There is just no way Adams could have done all they claim he did without his parents' cooperation. Also, certainly a guilty plea may be appealed for a variety of reasons. As well the channel ten news report on this said Adams was appealing the sentence.— November 20, 2012 5:45 p.m.
Man accused of $3 million fraud admits 48 felonies
I have been following this story in The Reader and it seems to me that the Dad was in on the whole thing. I can't believe he could have allowed his son to use his identity and buy all those properties for two years, without knowing what was going on and being in on it. As far as Tyler Adams' pleading guilty to 48 charges I don't understand that at all either. Why would anyone do that, especially with “no deals from district attorney’s office, no deals from the court?" If he had gone to trial he could not have been convicted of more than those 48 counts. Wasn't he charged with 48 counts total?— October 27, 2012 10:56 p.m.
Tyler Adams uses mom and dad's identities to borrow $3 million
Seems to me there could be two sides to this story. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense that the guy could have bought properties and gotten credit in his Dad's name for two years without Dad knowing about it. They were all in on it no doubt.— June 12, 2012 11:22 p.m.
