Getting wooly at Mamut
I am afraid to go to TJ. I enjoy reading the adventures that Chad Deal and Ian Pike take down there. Dodd, you are a baseball man. What are you doing hitting the TJ nightlife!! More Pike and Deal write-ups. They are refreshing. I haven't see Barb covering a restaurant in some time. I like how she tackles the restaurant reviews. I'd prefer she keep doing those, and less Diva columns. Maybe that's the male in me. Wait. My wife isn't a big fan either.— August 23, 2013 1:16 a.m.
Wheeler Brothers roll into town
Great story David Good.— August 23, 2013 1:14 a.m.
In a World...
I thought that was Amanda Peet on the movie poster. My wife thought it was Brooke Shields. Instead it was an actress we didn't know. Funny movie. It could've been funnier.— August 23, 2013 1:13 a.m.
Modern English Society
If this is the same team that gave us Shaun of the Dead, I WILL BE THERE!— August 23, 2013 1:11 a.m.
Tijuana Vegetarian Cuisine & Arts Fair sprouts up in Food Garden
I WILL NOT GO TO TJ TO EAT A MEAL! Seems dangerous.— August 23, 2013 1:11 a.m.
Touched by a Lemur
I feel the move to rotating the Diva column to a few times a month is rather welcome. So often the topics are the same ones previously covered. Rarely are they all that exciting or interesting. I'm hoping with a few less columns she'll strive harder to give us something of quality that we can look forward to reading. There was a column a few weeks ago about her missing David. That worked, yet I'm at a loss to remember how long ago it was that a column of hers was enjoyable.— August 23, 2013 1:10 a.m.
4th row center, special drive-in edition: Midnight Cowboy
A great movie...and a great story. Thanks Scott.— August 22, 2013 8:24 a.m.
Interview with In A World... writer-director-star Lake Bell
Great interview. She seemed to be bothered by a few things ML said.— August 15, 2013 10:50 p.m.
Service for seven
You're probably the only critic that's going to tell it like it is regarding this movie. Great job.— August 15, 2013 7:31 a.m.
Blue Jasmine review makes reader see red
It amazes me how many of my friends and how many other critics loved Blue Jasmine. It wasn't very good. Midnight in Paris WAS good, but not great.— August 8, 2013 10:10 p.m.
