O'Melveny Park
A little fact correction - O'Melveny is either the 4th or 5th largest regional park in LA City, behind Griffith Park, Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area, Hansen Dam Recreation Area, and possibly Verdugo Hills Park. It's still a gorgeous park and connects to county park land in Santa Clarita. Of course, all of the park except park central was completely burned in wildfires 18 months ago, so expect an altered landscape from some of your lovely description. Regardless, O'Melveny is one of our favorite LA City parks!— February 11, 2010 1:39 p.m.
