Fourth of July: Caesar Would Have Turned In His Grave?
The long crossing delays at the border are effecting a cultural renaissance in Tijuana, notably in the culinary arts. Congrats to the TJ culinary art school! You can now eat better in TJ than in San Diego, and cheaper too. And this improvement isn't limited to just tacos and street food.— July 4, 2012 9:11 a.m.
Taco Trip: Mazateño Tops TJ
Excellent food! Beats anything in San Diego at bottom prices!— July 4, 2012 9:04 a.m.
No Road Yet to Tijuana's New Border Station
They better get their minds together on this, otherwise we're going to have a deep worsening of the economic depression we've been suffering for the last years! And this is not going to hurt Tijuana only!— June 16, 2012 7:39 p.m.
Baja’s Tantalizing Taste of Tuscany
It's as real as it's described!— June 14, 2012 3:31 p.m.
Tijuana Named Most Hated City in the World by CNNGo
Tijuana has always had a PR problem. However, I live quite comfortably, more cheaply and with better food than in San Diego. It's good to know that Philadelphia has a worse murder rate than Tijuana. Why is it that the U.S. media doesn't divulge that as much as it attacks Tijuana? There's a lot of bigotry, racism, predujice and red-neckism involved in criticizing Tijuana and Mexico in general. If you aren't in the drug trade, your probability of facing a mugging or gun attack is practically nil, with the usual exceptions due to bad luck; certainly better than in Philadelphia and many other U.S. cities (and towns).— June 12, 2012 6:56 p.m.
