Monstrous
Review by "The Movie Mom" - " “Monsters Inc.” is one of my favorite Pixar movies, filled with wit, imagination, and heart. This prequel is a lot of fun, still very funny and wildly imaginative, but a little hollow where the heart should be." The review is much longer but overall she likes the movie. As she ends it, "Second-rate Pixar is still better than most of what is out there, but we do expect more."— June 21, 2013 12:31 p.m.
El Cajon takes tax revenue from the county
@Viewer - you seemed to have miss the point just as Dianne Jacob did. Also being a resident in the unincorporated part of El Cajon in 92021, I, too, pay city taxes even though I am not a part of that city and rarely shop within the actual city. So if Dave is paying, and I am paying and THOUSANDS of other non-city residents are paying, this adds up to a very sweet sum of money for the city of El Cajon, money that doesn't duly belong to them. Dave is making the point for all of us, not just himself.— May 30, 2013 4:09 p.m.
Turf Club happy hour: First, learn how to grill
There used to be a restaurant on El Cajon Blvd, somewhere near 30th (Dookies?? Harry's?? Can't remember the name), back some 35-40 years ago where you could cook your own steaks, burgers, etc., so who actually stole this "concept" from whom??— May 17, 2013 1:58 p.m.
Otay Mesa: Where the bus drivers eat
I'll have one Eduaro, please. And make that to go!— May 10, 2013 2:16 p.m.
A San Diego life of car accidents
I don't know if it's just because I'm reading this story so early in the morning and not really comprehending the "flow", but it seems to be a tad bit all over the place and I'm just not getting it. Maybe it's just me?— February 11, 2013 9:47 a.m.
