Establishing a Bank, License Plate Symbols
Hey M.A., "Cali" is a city in Colombia.— March 26, 2010 10:48 a.m.

kill the seals! Save the fish!— March 11, 2010 11:13 a.m.
Pt. Loma activists skeptical of methane gas
Haul some generators in with the barges, and send power out to the grid. Pretty simple, huh? As to the Navy building tanks, get out of the way. They could take your Point Loma mansions if they want to.— June 13, 2009 5:41 p.m.
Harbor Police, Reader Hoarding, and Animals with People Names
Let me clear this, I respect and admire most LEOs, but in the case of the Harbor Police, familiarity has bred contempt.— December 4, 2008 2:26 p.m.
Harbor Police, Reader Hoarding, and Animals with People Names
The Harbor Police have a long history of bungling and favoritism. There is suspicion that they hire Police academy washouts. Ask any live-aboard. I saw them run into an anchored 100 foot yacht and they threatened to sue the owner for replacement of their radar until "the Log" published a clear photo of the crash showing the anchor line down. They usually run their engines at full speed when an economical cruise is called for, wasting gas and money. Mr. Bauder could easily come up with a great story on these floating Barneys— December 4, 2008 10:13 a.m.
Andrea Tevlin, San Diego's budget analyst, too busy to talk
San Diego needs money and there is no better way to raise cash than a separation of sport and State. Sell the football and baseball stadiums to the highest bidder. If the teams don't like it, too bad, leave. The City has no business spending public monies to benefit sports corparations. Public parks and schools are the only place the city should spend money on sports.— December 4, 2008 10:03 a.m.
Accidents Happen
4 of my friends have been killed by left-turning cars in the last 6 years. Criminal negligence would be a good charge, but it's always "Oops, didn't see him" and no charges pressed.— February 1, 2008 9:53 a.m.
