Pat Abbott: Abbott says the high frequencies of the seismic-wave spectrum have the greatest impact on very hard, dense rock.  Abbott says the parts of San Diego County that are made up of this kind of rock include Mt. Helix, Dictionary Hill, and Del Cerro. “Also areas like Rancho San Diego. Or the hills around the southern and eastern end of El Cajon.”
