Join the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy for a monthly Walk N’ Talk. The hike will begin from the homestead, pass the David Kreitzer Lake Hodges bridge, and continue on to the base of Bernardo Mountain. After the hike, enjoy a tour of the Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead. The Sikes Adobe Farmhouse is a historic site that is being restored to its period of significance. Established around 1870, it holds one of the area’s oldest adobe homes from the American era.

British singer-songwriter Bruno Major was originally signed to Virgin Records before going indie and releasing his debut album A Song For Every Moon in 2017. He’s since embarked on multiple U.S. tours, appearing on the Late Late Show and performing at Bonnaroo, as well as touring Asia. He’s touring in support of his third full-length, Columbo, released in July.

The Solento Surf Festival is the convergence of surfing, film, art, and music. On September 16, there will be a a family-oriented day of surf contests, live music, food and drinks, and partner activations. From September 21 to 23, the historic La Paloma Theatre will showcase new surf films, panel discussions, and live music. Film showings include the world premiere of Trilogy: New Wave and a panel with director Andrew Mackenzie, the U.S. premiere of Corners of the Earth and panel with director Spencer Frost, and untold stories and unseen footage with award-winning filmmaker Michael Oblowitz. There will be an art show hosted at Four Moons Spa and pre-screen happy hour at ALOHA Collection.
