Idlehands and Ghost Parade

Experimental indie-rock quintet Idlehands comes to Soda Bar to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their Common Soul EP.

Idlehands has reunited to play music again for the first time in around five years. The band is celebrating the ten-year anniversary of their breakthrough EP Common Soul, which was recently released in its first vinyl incarnation. Co-headliner Ghost Parade is a side project of Idlehands singer Johnny O’Hagen.

Comic Savvy: New Year’s Edition

Come to Little Fish Comic Book Studio to peruse their large library of comics and discuss comics with like-minded fans.

Little Fish Comic Book Studio was founded in 2012 by Alonso Nunez with Patrick Yurick and is dedicated to developing skills of students interested in the comic art form through classes and camps. Enjoy comics, conversation, and donuts. Peruse the stacks of comic books and graphic novels. Free comic books and graphic novels are available for attendees to go through and take home.

Winter Festival in Poway

Get a taste of a snowy Winter at Poway's Winter Festival.

Build a snowman, sled down the snow hill, roast marshmallows by the campfire, use the photo booth, or skate around the synthetic ice skating rink. Food vendors will be on-site. Free shuttles to and from the event will be available from Poway City Hall parking lot and Boys and Girls Club parking lot.
