Tiki Oasis is an annual 5-day event in San Diego, California for lovers of Island lifestyle and purveyors of Polynesian Pop.

Five nights and four days of live music, dancing, pool lounging, fashion shows, sunset dinners, disc jockeys, educational seminars, a marketplace, tropical cocktails, art exhibits, and book signings. Performers: Ursula 1000, the Amalgamated, the Tourmaliners, Alvino & the Dwells, The Smokin’ Menehunes, Los Pakalolos, The Rosalyns, The Sound Reasons, Ukulele Hiro, the Red Fox Tails, and a rare Nashville Ramblers reunion. Dance performances from Motu Nehenehe Polynesian Dancers.

When a whip-smart teenager agrees to take a road trip with her free-spirited Latina mother, neither can imagine where it will take them. Chance encounters with a medley of characters along the way brings them closer to understanding what sets them apart— and what connects them forever. Kit Carson Amphitheater is an outdoor theater. Seating is first come, first served.

When: Sundays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 8 pm. Through Saturday, August 14.

Ticket holders have the options of a self-guided day throughout Julian to visit participating locations, or to purchase a ticket with shuttle service to each venue. Participants: Blue Door Winery, Calico Cidery, Menghini Winery, Volcan Mountain Winery, Julian Wine & Chocolate, Julian Beer Company, Nickel Beer, The Cooler, Julian Hard Cider, and Red Barn at Wynola Pizza.
