Taste Of Adams Avenue

39+ Adams Avenue restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, wine bars, breweries and unique eateries open their doors for samples galore.

39 Adams Avenue restaurants, coffee houses, breweries, wine bars, and eateries. Each participant will create a taste of its house specialties. Eight new participants: Brother’s Mexican Restaurant, Cabetos Pops, Fortunate Son, Fruit Things, Gluten Free Baking Company, Maya Moon Collective, Ska Bar, and Sukhothai Extraordinaire. They will be joined by Blackmarket Bakery, Blind Lady Ale House, El Zarape Mexican Cantina, Et Voila French Bistro, Hawthorn Coffee, Incredible Cheesecake Company, Moosie’s Ice Cream, Nozaru Ramen Bar, Paleo Treats, Sabuku Sushi/Munchiebowl, Senor Mangos Juice House, Tajima Ramen Bar, Thai Joint, Twiggs Bakery, Village Vino and more.

When: Sunday, July 25, 11 am to 3 pm

Plein Air Festival

Plein air painting is a painting completed in the field, on location, and “in the moment.” All skill levels are encouraged. Any artist may participate–they do not need to be members.

Artists of all skill levels are invited to come paint in the open air. Oceanside offers coastlines, cityscapes, lagoons, hills, and the historic Mission San Luis Rey for inspiration. There will be a number of opportunities to sell artwork as well as submit for awards consideration and the possibility to be juried into an exhibition at Oceanside museum of Art August 1st through October 10th. Festival registrants save 25% off ticketed workshops and an artist talk with artists Mark Fehlman, Danny Griego, Margaret Larlham, and Shuang Li, as well as a lecture with Jean Stern.

When: Saturday, July 24 through Saturday July 31, 9 am
