Hosted by Warwick’s, Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times reporter David Philipps discusses his new book, ALPHA: Eddie Gallagher and the War for the Soul of the Navy SEALs. By official accounts, the Navy SEALs of Alpha platoon returned as heroes after their 2017 deployment to Mosul, following a vicious campaign to drive ISIS from the city. But within the platoon a different war raged. The book tells the story of SEAL Team 7, whose deployment to Iraq led to murder accusations against their chief, Eddie Gallagher.

Country music singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley signed to Capitol Nashville in 2003 and released his eponymous debut album and 2005’s Modern Day Drifter, both now certified platinum in the United States. He’s gone on to score over a dozen number one country singles, such as “What Was I Thinkin’” and “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)”. The bill covers Riley Green and Parker McCollum, and a dance set from DJ Aydamn.

Stewart Copeland: Police Deranged For Orchestra

The Rady Shell outdoor amphitheater hosts the World-Premiere of Stewart Copeland’s orchestral celebration of Police's greatest hits.

The occasional guitarist from the Police has long been known for offbeat projects, such as Light Up the Orchestra, a symphonic overview of his film and television compositions. The U.S. premiere of Police Deranged For Orchestra will show Copeland accompanied by four singers and members of the San Diego Symphony orchestra, performing highlights from Copeland’s entire career and particular focus on his time with the Police.
