Kati and Ernie transformed their 1.5-acre parcel into a nature sanctuary where during COVID lockdown they have spent more time on Mt. Whoville watching widlife visitors.
Kati and Ernie transformed their 1.5-acre parcel into a nature sanctuary. They provided water and planted plants in a native chaparral environment, allowing wildlife to bloom. Covid lockdown has allowed them to spend more time at home enjoying and observing visitors. Their photography includes game cameras and an intimate nest camera to see night visitors. Ernie Cowan is a noted photographer, lecturer, instructor and author.

Evanescence Live From Rock Falcon Studio
A Live Session From Rock Falcon Studio features performances of songs from the upcoming album The Bitter Truth for the first time, along with fan favorites. Don’t miss Evanescence’s first public performance of 2020.
Evanescence will be hosting their first public performance of the Covid era, a livestream concert experience. The band, who postponed their international tour earlier this year, assembled from Nashville, Sacramento, and Germany to perform live renditions of songs from their upcoming album The Bitter Truth for the first time. Hosted at Rock Falcon Studio in Nashville, where the band have been recording their new album, the livestream will be available through December 8.

With the uncertainty of tradition for the 2020 Holiday Season, the La Mesa Village Association is proud to announce the return of the beloved 5th Annual Holiday in the Village!
In a modified Craft Market format, friends and family will have the chance to take part in holiday music, craft vendors, a food court, and a holiday photo station. Peruse the handmade artisan goods of local makers, head to the food court for holiday treats from local vendors, enjoy seasonal tunes, and, trot with the long-limbed Red Toy Soldier and Reindeer.
