Pearl Jam’s first album in seven years

Gigaton is the eleventh studio album by the American rock band Pearl Jam. It was preceded by the singles “Dance of the Clairvoyants” and “Superblood Wolfmoon” and will be the band’s first studio album in seven years. Rolling Stone writer Kory Grow gave the album a positive review, writing that Gigaton is “an admirable, inspiring example of grown-up grunge.” Its release was scheduled to coincide with a tour of North America, which was postponed due to coronavirus outbreak.

Spring at the Torrey Pines Reserve

Visit the Torrey Pines State Reserve to see signs of early spring. Spot some birds commonly found in the area: Red-tailed hawk, California quail, spotted Towhee, Anna’s hummingbird, and California thrasher. While the visitor center is closed, you can still hike up to the top, as most trails are open.

When: Every day from 7:15 am to sunset

Explore the UTC Mall while solving problems, learning fun facts, and taking photos. Use the code SDREADER to enjoy a self-guided scavenger hunt using your mobile phone. Puzzling Adventure is a cross between a scavenger hunt, a race, and an informative self-guided tour. Each adventure consists of a series of locations that you are guided to; once there you are required to answer questions or solve puzzles to receive your next instruction. All you need is your own mobile device and an Internet connection.

When: Everyday, 11am to 7pm
