Shining: Freetown Collective
Freetown Colective’s latest single is a collaboration with DJ Private Ryan, “Feel the Love,” which hit number two on Apple Music’s Top 100 songs in February and March.
As part of the Social Distancing Festival, Freetown Collective is staging a weekly live online concert series, running through early September. Hailing from the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago, the six-piece band has guest musicians and spoken word poets at each live interactive session. Mixed up in the living sound are hip-hop, soca, blues, trap, and the sounds of the ‘80s.
