Wild Winter Family Event

This festive event in San Diego includes hands-on animal encounters, a cute craft, a dash through the holiday hall, a sweet treat for all and a gift for the little ones.

Hands-on animal encounters, a craft for you to keep (or gift), a dash through the holiday hall, a sweet treat for all. Registration is for a one-hour time slot with a group of up to six people, which must arrive together. Your group will be led through the activities by a member of the crew for the 60-minute duration.

Botanic Wonderland: Illuminated Plants, Music, Fire Pits

Botanic Wonderland is an outdoor holiday lighting experience, where visitors can safely stroll amidst festive holiday lights throughout various areas within the Garden’s 37 acres.

Outdoor holiday lighting experience, where visitors can stroll amidst festive holiday lights throughout San Diego Botanic Garden’s 37 acres. Many garden areas are adorned with lights and holiday decorations: the Dickinson Family Education Conservatory, Toni’s Treehouse, the Rainforest and Waterfall, the Lawn Garden, Canary Islands/Cork Oak Grove and Seeds of Wonder Children’s Garden. Festive displays of lighted animals, laser lighting, fire pits, and an illuminated plant collection. Live music is offered nightly, hot beverages and food available.

When: Wednesday, December 16, 5 pm to 8:30 pm. Through December 30.
