Hike and harvest at the Santa Ysabel Indian Mission

Six and a half mile hike will follow a creek downhill to the Santa Ysabel Indian Mission. Padre Sanchez traveled this trail in 1821 and chronicled it in his diary. Pass by White Alder forest and stop to pick the last few remaining blackberries along trail. After hike, enjoy a harvest celebration: park staff will have a nature touch table and “make your own hiking stick” station.

Her fifth studio album in 2016 proved surprisingly successful in the US. New full-length dropped last week, Wax, co-written and produced by British rock star Nick McCarthy of Franz Ferdinand and preceded by single for “The River.” Support tour features her accompanying herself onstage with loop pedal.
