10:12 Medical: Lifeguard, emergency and medical units respond to Dog Beach for 41 year-old female who was “struck” by a dog. Lifeguard transports medics to victim. Medical advises patient.

11:44 Other: Lifeguards respond to dog in distress off Fiesta Island. Object ends up being a large pond frond. False call.

12:01 Medical: Pacific Beach Lifeguards, emergency and medical units respond to 700 Grand for fainting episode. Medical advises subject.

14:18 Swimmer: 911 call of swimmer in distress at No Surf Beach. Lifeguards respond, swimmer makes it to beach, minor medical aid administered.

17:21 Swimmer: missing swimmer last seen in the water at La Jolla Shores. Multiple lifeguard units respond. Reporting person states 13 year-old male was last seen in the water but is a good swimmer. San Diego Police transfer call notifies that missing swimmer found at Corners area near Scripps, on the beach. No aid needed.

22:12 Medical: 911 fire transfer 63 year-old female with breathing problems. Fire is requesting Lifeguards to help with patient location point in parking lot near the model yacht pond. Lifeguard on scene vectors in location. Patient transported to Sharp Memorial.

14:26 Swimmer: Swimmer in a rip current at No surf. Lifeguards, including Jet and boat unit respond. Shore guard reports the swimmer in question clears.

Jan 11

11:48 Other: San Diego PD reports a possible suicide, pier jumper at Ocean Beach or Pacific Beach. Lifeguards check both piers and nothing found.

22:22 Swimmer: 19 year-old male fall into water from Ocean Beach Pier. Multiple lifeguard units respond and locate victim unconscious in the water, CPR administered in route to Lifeguard HQ to meet with medics. Medics transport patient to UCSD.

12:55 Swimmer: South Mission Station reports person swimming in the channel. Lifeguard responds to find a male unwilling to cooperate with request to exit water. San Diego PD and lifeguards respond on boat unit and take subject aboard. Subject is written a citation and taken into PD custody for evaluation.

18:12 Cliff: 911 caller states he believes people are trapped on the beach at Ladera. Lifeguard responds is advised that the people are not stuck and making their way off the beach without assistance.

07:14 Boating: Lifeguard boat unit responds to 50-foot boat, partially broken free of Bahia dock. Lifeguards are able to securely re-tie boat to dock with multiple lines.

13:40 Swimmer: Lifeguard units respond to female Crystal Pier jumper on north side. Victim rescued and released.

19:06 Lifeguard boat unit responds to US Coast Guard request concerning a 17 foot runabout without power in Fiesta Bay. Boat lands on Fiesta Island with 1 person on board. Lifeguard tows runabout back to Ski Beach dock.
