Will Ferrell in a semi-serious role and an interesting premise

Stranger Than Fiction serves up a rare glimpse at Will Ferrell in a semi-serious role. Ferrell is hilarious as Harold Crick, a man who finds his life being “narrated” by an author that only he can hear. The cast includes Maggie Gyllenhaal and Emma Thompson. If you liked Being John Malkovich you will enjoy this movie.

The Netflix series Stranger Things combines young actors, sci-fi, an interesting premise, and an adventure that harkens back to Goonies. I found myself marathoning this one.
