Who you calling a sarcastic fringehead?

Sign posted in mudflats insults presidential candidate

Exact species of fish is open to debate

With the downtown San Diego skyline and the Coronado Bridge as a background, a “Dump Trump” sign was recently posted in the fenced-off area around Pond 20, the 95-acre piece of land that falls within the City of San Diego but is just a few feet away from the entrance to the City of Imperial Beach.

The handwritten sign with pink streamers reads, “Dump Trump back in the bay mud with the Mud-Suckers” followed by four drawn fish described by one fisherman as “sarcastic fringeheads, [which] are found in the bay and along the coast in sand or hard mud and are bad-tempered, irritable little creatures with an attitude that are best left alone.”

Reading the sign from one of the recently completed viewing platforms, an older couple debated how the sign was installed. “I don't see any foot prints,” said the man. “Maybe they used a drone,” said the woman.
