What’s there not to love about Pink Flamingos? It’s pure John Water’s B-movie gold with bad acting, horrible (but oh-so-good) dialogue, the late and fabulous Divine, the egg lady, and the strangest chicken sex scene you’ll ever see. Let’s not forget the famous scene with Divine and the dog feces. This movie will leave you wanting to bathe in scorching hot water with bleach but still wanting more.

The reigning queen of cult movies in the gay community, Mommie Dearest, gave us a Pavlov’s dog reaction to wire hangers. It’s full of one-liners and overdramatic scenes that drag queens will lip-synch for years. It forces you to laugh at things you shouldn’t, like child abuse. My favorite scene is the fight scene between Joan and Christina after Joan brings Christina home from boarding school and asks Joan why she adopted her. CINEMA GOLD!
