Kasabian rattles the rafters at House of Blues

Booming Brits shook down bits of last New Years' confetti!

(1) Kasabian likes their drums really loud. (2) Kasabian likes their bass even louder. That being said, people really got into Kasabian’s set as they moved to the hard beats that this British six-piece can lay down.

At this, the last show of their North American tour, Kasabian seemed to walk out onstage a little bit tired and ready to go home. But the response from the crowd was overwhelming, and soon the band was warmed up, creating a fervor that made for a show that was both entertaining and memorable.

singer Tom Meighan intoned our town’s name at least a dozen times). Meighan also revealed that he doesn’t take himself as seriously as his stage persona suggests, often joking and gaffing with songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sergio Pizzorno.

The crowd was full of happy attendees who bounced and sang along to every song, showing their approval by hurling cups of beer toward the stage showering everyone in eau de lager.
