Bikinis everywhere

All, apparently, from Victoria’s Secret.

Mission Beach is one of the few cities were you can get away with wearing a bikini to the grocery store, out to lunch, or on a leisurely bike ride. It’s the go-to wardrobe staple for most of Mission Beach’s women.

Joanna and Ornella Najem wore matching sun hats

At Belmont Park I ran into cousins Joanna Najem and Ornella Najem on a leisurely walk. Joanna wore a mesh salmon-colored cover-up over a striped Victoria’s Secret bikini. Ornella paired a picture perfect oversized sun hat with her embellished bikini, also from Victoria’s Secret.

Ornella is visiting San Diego from Lebanon. When asked what she likes best about San Diego, Ornella admitted, “Well, I’ve only been here for two days so I don’t know yet.”

Joanna interrupted, “It’s me, right?”

“Yes, of course,” added Ornella with a laugh. “Seeing my cousin is the best part of my San Diego visit!”

Nearby, best friends Taylor Bradley and Lexi Campbell browsed the racks at Sun Diego. The two young ladies are visiting Mission Beach in an attempt to escape the mid-July heat of their home state, Arizona.

“Sun Diego is our favorite place to shop,” Campbell said of the beach-inspired local retailer.

Campbell wore adorable lolitaesque heart-framed sunglasses purchased at a kiosk in Belmont Park. Her crocheted cover-up is from Target while her bikini top is from Victoria’s Secret and her bottom is from H&M.

Meanwhile, Bradley wore a cover-up from Papaya over her pink and blue Victoria’s Secret bikini.

Apparently, Victoria’s Secret is the go-to bikini shop for Mission Beach visitors.
