New disclosures filed with the City Clerk's Office reveals the political action committee Zombies for Responsible Government Opposed to Nathan Fletcher for Mayor 2013 has raised an additional $7500 from two donors.

The former chairman of the California Republican Party and current committee member of the Republican National Committee, Shawn Steel, of Rolling Hills, California, gave $2000 on October 31.

According to Steel's website, the conservative power broker founded California's chapter of the anti-tax committee named Club for Growth.

Also hoping to take a bite out of Fletcher's lead is the political action committee Americans for Accountability in Leadership. They wrote a check for $5,300 to the anti-Fletcher PAC, diverging from their main goal of defeating Nancy Pelosi's "liberal machine" operating in California.

The donations are in addition to an October 29 contribution from the "dark lord" of Orange County politics, Mike Schroeder. It shows that conservatives not only from San Diego but throughout the state hope to take Fletcher out of the race.
