Breakfast Club Inspired Style

While browsing the racks at Hunt & Gather, a vintage boutique on University Ave in North Park, I ran into the well-dressed duo of Issa Lozano and Domenik Grisanti.

Both wore similar bags with very different prize tags. Lozano bought his vintage Coach shoulder bag for $1 at Goodwill. Grisanti was not quit as thrifty. His Cambridge Classic Satchel brand bag has a $156 price tag.

20-year-old Issa Lozano is a thrift store junkie. Along with his vintage Coach bag, he wore a pair of old-school Ferragamo's also from Goodwill. The Italian shoes retail for $600 and up. Issa scored his pair for $3.

"Just about everything I am wearing is from Goodwill," Lozano said of his outfit.

The 20-year-old's biggest pet peeve is uninspired fashion.

"A lot of people use Instagram and Tumblr for their fashion choices. They see a photo of someone and copy their style. That’s not fashion. It's supposed to be fun and about individuality. This morning I woke up and said, I want to dress like the "The Breakfast Club" so that's what I did. That was my inspiration for today.”

I’d say Lozano’s look is a nice mixture of John Bender meets Brian Johnson. It's preppy with an edgy twist.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Domenik Grisanti wore mostly eBay purchased items. His Leather jacket and t-shirt are both from the online marketplace. He wore a pair of classic Doc Martens Original combat boots. The boots retail for around $120. He also wore Zara skinny jeans.
