Shot in Tijuana: On Calle Primera

Many restaurants and bars in Tijuana are decorating their businesses with symbols that to Americans are emblematic of Halloween but to Mexicans represent el Dia de los Muertos. Thus, we have a saloon on Calle Primera across the street from Plaza Santa Cecilia decking out its halls with hand-carved wooden skeletons, one of which is seen here prior to its “hanging.” This particular specimen is about seven feet tall in repose.
